LET'S GROW TOGETHER

With nearly 100 years of history and three generations of Luck Family leadership, we are committed to building strong relationships with the great communities we get to be a part of. When we bring a new location into our company, our associates become a part of that community, and that community becomes a part of us.

Our Commitment to South Carolina

Luck Companies is committed to making a positive impact throughout South Carolina—economically, environmentally and in the community.

Taking what we’ve learned from the community over the past three years and considering the current Chester County Comprehensive Plan, we have reimagined the positive impact that our economic development project can have on the community.  We have worked to redesign the property to better benefit our neighbors by adding buffers, conservation areas, and increased land use options.

GIVING BACK IN Chester

Community is the foundation of our business. Whether it’s being a steward of the land and ensuring the prosperity of the environment, designing sites that ensure long-term, sustainable, and smart development, or engraining ourselves in the community and supporting the aspirations of the citizens, businesses, and organizations where we operate, our goal is to propel our mission to positively impact the lives of others.

Community Impact

Preparing the Next Generation

It was our honor to partner with Chester Senior High School to host a Career Readiness Day for the entire senior class of 2021 graduates! The event provided seniors with mentorship opportunities and one-on-one guidance to help navigate their next steps after graduation.

Giving Back

Giving back is in our DNA at Luck Companies and we take great pride in supporting communities and helping our neighbors. At our Atlanta-Stephens Plant, the team regularly volunteers at the Atlanta Food Bank. During this trip, our team of volunteers bagged 10,000 pounds of food.

Driven by our mission to ignite human potential, we strive to give back to the communities where we live and operate. We're constantly seeking new ways to learn more about your community and how our company can give back.

If you have an opportunity in mind, please reach out to us. We look forward to working together.

Supporting Chester County During COVID-19 Crisis

Luck Companies organized the distribution of hot family meals for Chester County School District bus drivers and student nutrition staff by partnering with local restaurant, Chicken King. The family meals were provided by Luck Companies as a thank you to the school district employees who were unable to serve students in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis.

Providing Supplies to Keep Citizens Safe

In the early days of the pandemic, when protective masks and hand sanitizer were challenging to secure, Luck Companies provided these supplies to area essential employers in Chester County.

  • Katie Kosloski
    GREENFIELD DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

I started with Luck Stone in 2009 as a Mining Engineering Co-Op Student. This 15-month program allowed me, while still in college, to learn about the industry and work through mine development and reserve estimation projects. I was hired by Luck Stone full-time upon graduation. I had a vast interest in gaining a deeper understanding of quarry operations and entered a Foreman Trainee role at the company. In this position, I was able to learn more about the mechanical crushing and screening systems that help attain the appropriate product graduations. I also learned a tremendous amount about leadership and the importance of teamwork through my time in the plant. Currently, I am leveraging both my engineering and operational experience to lead a team through the development of a new quarry pit in Leesburg, Virginia. The culture and people at Luck Stone make this company a great fit for me. Working for a mining company where the Mission and Vision speak to the value that each member of our team brings to the table is truly felt in the way that Luck associates approach and interact with each other, and is often noted by the community in our exchanges with them.
